Starting Over, Stopping Buses
Last year, enough young people in London were pushed into homelessness to fill a double decker bus every day. This year it might be enough to fill a tube train, every day.
Though the increase in numbers of young people attending New Horizon Youth Centre continues to rise, our teams are continuing to deliver incredible work to support every young person who walks through our doors.

We refocused our teams around 4 key areas: Housing, Health, Life skills and Safety to provide the best holistic services for young people. The impact has been huge, with over 500 people improving their mental health, 265 people receiving specialist support through our safety and outreach programme, and 559 young people taking part in our Life Skills Programme.

- The Mayor of London visited our Youth Hub in Islington: 26 rooms for young people needing short term accommodation
- We ran a 10 day #StopTheBus Campaign, driving a double decker bus around key monuments in London and hosting events to raise awareness of a double decker bus worth of young people becoming homeless everyday in London.
- We rebranded and developed a new website!
