Young people who attend our weekly ESOL (English for speakers of other Languages) classes have created a Zine full of poems, stories, creative writing and photos about their experiences of being a refugee in London, travelling away from their homeland and messages to other young people like them.
The theme of Refugee week this year is Community, and through these stories we find out what community means to young refugees who are facing homelessness in London. They talk of hope, friendships, love, celebrating Ramadan, the hardship they face, longing and belonging and believing that things will get better.
