At New Horizon Youth Centre, we have been on a journey to be a trauma informed organisation, led and staffed by a workforce that has access to a wide and varied wellbeing offer and accesses to space to reflect and reset. The work we do as an organisation is challenging and never more so than in the current political and global context. The emotional toll on the wellbeing of our staff and leaders can be intense, and we want to ensure we provide high quality spaces to reflect and process this. Our staff have access to 1-1 counselling ran by an external wellbeing provider.
The Leadership Team (LTM) holds the responsibility for the strategic focus and direction of the organisation as well as the wellbeing and safety of the staff and the children and young people that work with the service. We are looking for a new provider for our LTM reflective practice, a core part of our leadership support and accountability mechanism.
