Friends, supporters and representatives from partner organisations turned up to Highbury Fields on Saturday to take part in NHYC's first ever Fun Run!
We were blessed with sunny weather uncharacteristic of October and the 5K race track was decorated with balloons and banners explaining our service to spectators.
Enthusiastic participants (including some who used to work with us many years ago) donned NHYC-branded t-shirts before limbering up and taking to the starting line, where our CEO Shelagh delivered words of encouragement through a megaphone! Network Homes staff gave fantastic support both as runners and stewards.
We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along on the day, your commitment to helping the homeless and vulnerable young people supported by NHYC is greatly appreciated and we hope to see you again at next year's event! See photos of the day below...
