We couldn't do the work we do to help the young and homeless in London without the support or many other organisations and of the wider community.
That's why we held a day of food, music and fun to say thank you both to our neighbours and to Network Homes, who've done some absolutely fantastic work supporting us, from transforming the NHYC garden to collaborating with us in housing young people at a crucial stage on their path to a better life. Funding for these improvements was generously provided by Young Camden Foundation.
As part of the event we opened up the centre to our neighbours in the surrounding area, to allow them to see and better understand the work we do to help young people escape homelessness and build a positive future.
Despite forecasts of rain the day was fantastic, with food served both indoors and outdoors (hedging our bets!), music provided by staff with some serious DJ skills, our crepe stall, and competitive games including egg and spoon racing, tug of war and a dance off.
Celebrations were capped with awards being given to several young people in recognition of outstanding contributions they've made throughout the year.
