Young People in Housing Crisis

You may have seen our name in various media over the past week with coverage of the increasing numbers of young homeless people for whom we cannot find either emergency or longer term accommodation.

We need action on this issue – indeed the young people themselves are calling for action with their own young homeless people’s manifesto. And as an organisation supporting homeless young people from across the capital, we are calling for a pan-London strategic response.

How you can help

• Are you a property developer, housing association, or other accommodation provider? We’d love to discuss what would be possible by working together. Please get in touch. 
• Private landlords –we really need affordable rooms and properties throughout London for our own successful PRS scheme.
• If you could offer a spare room in your house to a young homeless person for emergency accommodation, then please contact our partner Depaul Nightstop.
• Get involved in our volunteering programme or donate to our work.
