Today we were very pleased to welcome the London Grants Committee to New Horizon Youth Centre.
We were delighted to welcome..
The members of the London Councils Grant Committee visited to see first-hand the work we achieve on the London Youth Gateway project, funded by London Councils.
Housing young vulnerable people remains an eternal struggle. In grant-funding us the London Councils has enabled us to forge the first truly comprehensive provision across London Boroughs.

New Horizon Youth Centre
Jon Snow, Chair of the Management Council of lead partner New Horizon Youth Centre, further added...
"Working with three experienced providers we are at last achieving results we have never been able to achieve before. The London Youth Gateway is one of the most exciting developments in the 46 years of our project. At last we have the real prospect of reducing homelessness amongst these vulnerable young people.”
This was also an opportunity for members of the Grants Committee to speak with the three other London Youth Gateway partners (Alone in London, Stonewall Housing and DePaulUK Nightstop) as well as with young people using the London Youth Gateway Services.
Before coming here my life was a mess. Everyone was so very welcoming and helpful. It means I have somewhere stable to live now. And I’m starting an apprenticeship next month.
