Last Friday was the first day of business for the Social Enterprise Project here at the centre.
We have a stall on Chalton Street market selling crepes (French pancakes) with a wide range of tasty fillings. So there’s something for everyone whether you like chocolate and banana or mozzarella and tomato, ham & spinach.
And of course it’s not just a delicious lunch - by coming along to buy one you will also be supporting the Social Enterprise Project, which is run by the young people at New Horizon Youth Centre.
By taking part in this project the young people have learned how to set up and run a small business and developed valuable skills that they can use to further their lives and also their careers.
So head down to Chalton Street market today between 11am and 3pm to try one of the delicious sweet or savoury crepes made by the young people! Prices start at £2.20.
